Netherlands and into Germany

The Munttoren (Mint Tower) first built in 1480, sits in the middle of Amsterdam's busy Muntplein square. Originally one of the main gates and guard houses of the city wall, it was destroyed by fire in 1618. It was rebuilt with its unique bell tower and a clock on each of its four sides. Clear photos are impossible with Amsterdam's network of tram wires everywhere.
